George Lewis Avery
[gods and poets]
i have launched missiles at the one
i have rained boulders down on the other
from the one i have felt detached
but the other i have sought out
when the silence builds
to ten decibels
my eardrums ring
and i can stand it no longer
i have stood outside their camp
and enjoyed its synergistic warmth
i have lingered near their fires
in blizzard and rain and starry night
i have heard their hearts rythmic beat
and it has lulled me to sleep
[the only peace i ve known]
since the ice age
began
i am TROLL †
